What I Packed for My Greek Summer
A few beautiful little things that made every outfit sing – salt in the hair, always optional.
Ciao belli,
I’ve been coming to Greece for years, and yet every time I step off the ferry, windswept, over-accessorised, and slightly sunburnt; I fall in love all over again. There's something about the rhythm of the islands that makes me want to slow down, lean into the chaos of a packing list scribbled on a receipt, and live in linen from dawn till dusk.
This year, between wedding prep and work madness, I was determined to keep it light (emotionally, spiritually, but let’s be honest… not physically). So here’s a little list of things I packed for my Greek summer – a curated chaos of treasures that make even a bikini and messy bun look considered.
Whether you're heading to Spetses, Patmos, or just your local park pretending it’s the Cyclades – here’s what came with me:
Bream Pendant – Elena Votsi: A whimsical yet refined fish charm, handmade in Greece.
Emma Sandals – Ancient Greek Sandals: A minimalist summer staple with an elegant strap detail.
Medium Panier Tote Bag – Manebí: A straw carryall with just the right amount of French Riviera flair – perfect for poolside lounging or a weekend escape.
Sardinia Necklace – Julietta: Playful and nostalgic, this exclusive shell necklace brings just the right amount of coastal charm to any summer outfit.
Domi Dress – Rouje: Jane Birkin on a bike in Provence energy. This breezy midi dress is made for balmy evenings and Aperol-fuelled strolls.
Shop on RoujeBroderie Anglaise Linen-Blend Midi Dress – Farm Rio: The white dress that actually makes you feel like the main character. Light, flirty, and made for barefoot dancing.
1989 Earrings – Ysso: Sculptural, romantic, and quietly bold.
L.L. Bean Boat and Tote Bag – Open-Top: An American classic with a Greek summer twist - ideal for beach books, wet bikinis, and market mornings.
Polo Ralph Lauren Women’s T-Shirt – Navy: A wardrobe staple that works with linen, denim, or a salty topknot. Chic in its simplicity.
Loro Piana Angelo Linen Bermuda Shorts – White: Tailored to perfection and made for hot days that end in golden hour spritzes.
Sebago Portland Flesh Boat Shoes: A little bit Nantucket, a little bit Hydra; these boat shoes are classic, unisex, and built to last.
Loro Piana Charlie Hat: A sun-shielding, linen dream of a hat — the kind you’ll steal from your boyfriend and never give back.
Isola Bella Top – Away That Day: A chic bandeau in ocean blue made from regenerated nylon — flattering, functional, and sustainably fabulous.
Printed Cotton Beach Cover-Up – Johanna Ortiz: Statement-making and sun-ready — this bold cover-up adds drama to any beachside stroll.
Riko Necklace in Blue – Rat & Boa: Like wearing the Aegean around your neck — a pop of turquoise for your white summer wardrobe.
This wasn’t a capsule wardrobe, it was more of a “capsule spirit.” These pieces didn’t shout “on holiday,” they whispered, “I live here now.” Or at least that’s what I told myself as I ordered my fifth iced espresso freddo of the day.
More soon – including my wedding prep chaos and my not-so-secret Athens favourites.
With love and SPF,
